‘Insects’ Future Food

It is expected that by 2050, 50-70% of the world population will be living in urban areas. The World Wildlife Fund says that in 1986 the number of humans alive reached Earth’s natural carrying capacity. It is estimated that by 2050 the world population will reach nine billion and by then the resources of about two planets will be necessary to support ourselves. According to United Nations projections, to feed the entire world population, by that time, it will be necessary to increase agricultural production by 60%……
