In a time when we get bombarded with perfect (and often photoshopped) imagery every day, we seem to have lost contact with what’s really there: the human touch. We see it in all kinds of disciplines; in fashion, in (furniture) design, in food.We want to know (again) where a product comes from, who made it and what it’s made of.We want to see and feel the true attention someone put into the product.We also want a unique product to set ourselves apart from our friends, colleagues and neighbors.And in that way, show our own identity, our true selves (or how we want others to see us).
